WE CONSTRUCT MARVELS
This inaugural exhibit of  Libby Werbel ‘s year-long project at  Portland Art Museum was proudly curated by Werbel,  Sonya Hamilton , and Public Annex and highlights work and ideas by selected artists from Public Annex, Outpost 1000/ Artworks a CEI project ,  OSLP Arts & Culture Program  and  Albertina Kerr , all regional programs supporting artists with disabilities.

Oregon-based artists featured in this exhibition are Kurt Fisk, Ricky Bearghost, Elmeater Morton, (our very own) Perry Johnson, Lawrence Oliver and Dawn Westover. Public Annex believes the arts provide a unique access point for those with and without disability to collaborate, create and propose different ways of doing things.

STORMING THE ACADEMY
Feb 5th – March 31st, 2018

Storming the Academy an informal survey of regional artists who identify as primarily self-taught. Five artists (Cherisse Pacheco, Larry Hurst, David Hunt, Kwang Lee, and Shirley Beebe) and Program Director Jamie Walsh from the OSLP Arts & Culture Program will be exhibiting their works of art. Exhibition reception Thursday, Feb 8th from 5-8PM at OSU Fairbanks Hall (Room 004) at Oregon State University.
